Subject: LOCAL: Essex Area Linux Users' Group - call for members

ESSEX AREA LINUX USERS' GROUP
-----------------------------
Is there any interest in forming a UK Linux Users' Group in the Essex
area?

I know a few people who have expressed some interest, and it looks like
it is now time to call together a real meeting to see if a UK Essex Area
Linux user group will fly.

To this end Geoff Blake (geoff@palaemon.demon.co.uk) and I
(john@linux.demon.co.uk) have arranged an inaugural meeting as follows:

PROPOSED FIRST MEETING
----------------------
    Date: Saturday June 29th
Place at: The Rivenhall Village Hall
Times: 11:00 to 14:00 (doors open approx 10.00)
Cost: Maximum GBP 2 per person to cover hall hire costs

Directions and a proposed agenda will be e-mailed to those indicating an
intention to attend.

PLEASE REPLY
------------
If you are interested in coming, please e-mail me to say so. If you are
interested, but cannot make this particular meeting, please also reply.
Please indicate that you are interested in coming to the FIRST MEETING
or interested in FURTHER MEETINGS. Please remember that if this call
for interest flops, we will probably cancel the meeting arrangements,
so please don't just turn up.
